Vin Dacquino will discuss his book, Hauntings of the Hudson River Valley at the Haverstraw King's Daughters Public Library on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 7 pm on west Ramapo Road in Garnerville, NY. The event will be cosponsored by Poets & Writers.

According to vice president Joan Ever, Vin Dacquino will enlighten the St. Patrick's Senior Club of Yorktown on Sybil Ludington and the events of April 26, 1777 when he visits with them on October 19, 2010 at 10 am.

V.T. Dacquino, author, will be visiting the Matthew Paterson School in Patterson, New York. Vin Dacquino will again recount the exciting tales of Sybil Ludington to an assembly of students and facultyfollowed by several class visitations.

Making History: A Workshop for Writing Historical Non-Fiction. In this intensive hands-on course of capturing history in written form, participants will plan and execute a work of historical non-fiction. This five-week workshop will focus on gathering and sorting information relevant to student-chosen projects.
